What You’ll Do:
First Advantage is looking for a highly motivated, well-experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead a team of 2 Accounts Receivable Representatives. This person will be responsible for owning and managing the processing of payments, running billing cycles, overseeing cash applications, and posting general ledger payments. This role is heavy on customer support both internally and externally as it handles calls and emails directly from donors. 

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day Accounts Receivables transactions, including verifying, posting and recording customer payments.
  • Oversee the monthly billing process, creating invoices and sending customized reports.
  • Process credit memo requests, chargebacks and reconcile prepayment accounts.
  • Provide internal team, client and client facing teams support on billing questions, account updates and processing payments, through phone and email.
  • Handle escalations related to client invoicing issues. 
  • Send Client past due statements and make collection calls as needed.
  • Assist in establishing and creating proper checklists and procedures to increase department efficiency and timeliness of deliverables.
What You May Need to Be Successful:
  • Proven track record of managing a team, specifically within an Accounts Receivable or similar Finance department preferred.
  • A college degree with finance focused preferred, High School Diploma required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Net Suite preferred.
  • Customer service background is helpful.
  • Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem solving and organizational skills.


The salary range for this position is approximately $100,000 - $130,0000 USD annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
