Job Description

Are you a compassionate and motivated leader with a passion for providing exceptional service and operational excellence? The Pet Crematorium Durham are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Supervisor to join the team. 

In this role, you'll support the Site Operations Manager in overseeing the Customer Service Department, ensuring it operates smoothly and complies with local regulations. You'll play a vital part in maintaining a compassionate and respectful environment, ensuring deceased pets are handled with dignity in accordance with current regulations and company procedures. 

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and train team members, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company policies. 
  • Oversee office operations, including task prioritisation, equipment maintenance, and record-keeping. 
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to meet performance targets and ensure timely cremation processes. 
  • Handle correspondence, complaints, and queries while fostering strong customer relationships. 
  • Maintain accurate data, conduct stock checks, and manage payments and reconciliations. 
  • Provide essential information via noticeboards, social media, and other communication channels. 
  • Assume responsibility for site operations in the absence of the Site Operations Manager. 

In addition to a salary of £27,046, you will also receive a full range of benefits including:
