Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Title Clerk at Feldman Chevrolet of Novi. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing all vehicle title paperwork for sales transactions at our dealership. This is a full-time hourly administrative position in the auto industry, based in Novi, Michigan. The Title Clerk will report directly to the Office Manager and will work closely with the rest of the administrative team. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Process all vehicle title paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including title applications, registrations, and transfers.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for finance and insurance (F&I) department transactions.
• Work closely with sales and finance departments to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
• Maintain and organize all title and registration records in compliance with dealership and state regulations.
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and third-party agencies to resolve any title-related issues.
• Keep up to date on state-specific titling laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed to support the dealership.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in the auto industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while multitasking.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
• Familiarity with state-specific titling laws and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
